Notice No. 6: Effective Jan. 22, 2026
Area of project affected: S. 43rd St. between W. Howard Ave. and W. Oklahoma Ave.
- Effective Jan. 22, the closure of northbound S. 43rd St. will be extended to the south side of W. Morgan Ave. Traffic on Willow Way will be able to turn south on S. 43rd St.
- Approximately 2½ weeks later (~Feb. 8), the intersection of northbound S. 43rd St. and W. Morgan Ave. will be closed. This closure will last approximately three weeks.
- To access W. Morgan Ave. SB, traffic should travel to W. Howard Ave. to S. 35th St. to W. Morgan Ave. or if traffic is SB coming from north of W. Oklahoma Ave., it can turn left on W. Oklahoma Ave. to S. 35th St. to W. Morgan Ave.
- Residents of W. Morgan Ave. should travel to S. 35th St. and may turn north or south at S. 35th St. to continue to their destination.
- To access W. Morgan Ave. NB, traffic should travel to W. Howard Ave. to S. 35th St. to W. Morgan. Ave.
- When the work in the intersection is completed and it is reopened (late Feb. or early March), northbound S. 43rd St. will reopen from W. Howard Ave. to W. Morgan Ave.; while it will remain closed from the north side of W. Morgan Ave. to W. Oklahoma Ave.
Southbound S. 43rd St. will remain open to traffic from W. Morgan Ave. to W. Oklahoma Ave. Use of portions of the sidewalks on the east side of S. 43rd St. remains restricted.

Notice No. 2: Effective August 18, 2025
Area of Project Affected: W. Howard Ave. to W. Cleveland Ave.
There will be no parking on both sides of S. 43rd St. from W. Howard Ave. to W. Cleveland Ave. The bike path will be closed along the same segment of S. 43rd St. These restrictions will last for the duration of the project. All these restrictions will remain in place for the duration of the project.
