Use of Assets

Employees and contractors are expected to use ATC assets for legitimate business purposes.

The success of our organization depends on the responsible use of our assets. We must protect the company’s assets, including equipment, office supplies, information, corporate credit cards and materials from job sites carefully.

It's Up to Us

Timeline

  • We Need to Protect All Company Assets

    Misuse can include:

    • theft of ATC property
    • abuse of the corporate credit card
    • bribes
    • forging approvals

  • Properly Using Assets

We only use company assets to support ATC's business objectives and not for our personal benefit.

  • Treat with Care

Treat ATC's assets with the same care with which you treat your own.

  • Preventing Fraud

We understand the types of fraud that could occur in our area and look out for potential red flags. Fraud is an intentional act to deceive others, typically for personal gain. Fraud can happen in many different forms, including when someone steals or hides something from the company.

  • Speaking Up

We speak up if we suspect the misuse of ATC assets.

  • Often, fraud starts with small actions that don't feel like a big deal but can lead to serious wrongdoing.

We need to be just as vigilant about our own actions as about others' and to speak up if we suspect the misuse of company assets.

Documenting Expenses Accurately
