Kids enjoy Summer Saunters on the Ice Age Trail
The Ice Age Trail Alliance Summer Saunters program provides an opportunity for kids to learn about the state’s glacial, cultural and natural history while hiking and exploring along the trail. American Transmission Co. partnered with the Alliance this year to help make Milwaukee Saunters a reality. The program takes youth on five unique hikes on the Trail within 1.5 hours of Milwaukee. We visited them as they spent a day at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Field Station.
