ATC team members spend the summer showing they care

From charity runs to trivia nights and volunteer events, American Transmission Co. team members are putting their positive energy to work for great causes this summer.

ATC helps sponsor hundreds of community events throughout the year. ATC also cares about the organizations important to its employees – ATC’s Matching Gifts Programs supports employee donations to arts, environmental and educational organizations. It’s just one reason why ATC is consistently ranked as one of the nation’s best workplaces.

A team from ATC ran the Bellin 10K in Green Bay, Wis. Forty-eight people, including ATC employees and their families, represented ATC at the United Performing Arts Fund Ride for the Arts in Milwaukee. Employees, families and pets participated in the Tails on the Trail 5K for the Wisconsin Humane Society in Milwaukee. ATC “Superheroes” ran with The Super Run in Hartland, Wis., to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Employees rode during Bike for Boys & Girls Club in Dane County, Wis. ATC interns joined the United Way of Greater Milwaukee’s Intern Day of Action for an International Day of Literacy Fair at La Casa de Esperanza in Waukesha, Wis. They helped nearly 2,000 local students gain an appreciation for learning through a series of hands-on activities. ATC’s Human Resources team volunteered at Feeding America in Milwaukee, Wis. Team members participated in a trivia night to help The Women’s Center in Waukesha, Wis.
