ATC releases 2015 Annual Report
Features best-in-class operations, community involvement, environmental stewardship
ATC’s 2015 annual report is now in print and available for viewing at our website.
The report highlights the year’s accomplishments in operations, construction, maintenance, environmental stewardship, community outreach and financial performance. It has some pretty pictures, too.
In his introductory letter, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board Mike Rowe notes the hallmarks of the ATC organization: collaboration, innovation and leadership. ATC routinely collaborates with other transmission owners and stakeholders to assure reliable, economic and efficient planning for the build out of the regional grid. We also have worked with six utilities in the Railbelt region of Alaska to form a transmission company patterned after our business model. With a focus on innovation, Rowe notes that a team dedicated to overseeing internal projects to create efficiency, streamline processes and reduce costs has already achieve nearly a half-million dollars in cost savings. And our leadership is recognized by garnering the Great Place to Work® designation from FORTUNE magazine for the second year in a row.
