Steve Dykstra

Vice President, Business Development and Integration
American Transmission Co.

Steve Dykstra has been a member of the leadership team of American Transmission Co. since its inception in 2001. Currently the vice president of business development and integration, he is responsible for leading a team to grow the organization in keeping with its vision to be America’s premier energy delivery partner.

Prior to becoming vice president, Dykstra was instrumental in policy development, change management and executive leadership in positions relating to customer relations, information technology, supply chain, finance and treasury. Most recently, he served as integrations director, working closely with the Business Development Council to develop processes and methodologies for cross-functional teams to successfully integrate business development initiatives.

Prior to joining ATC, Dykstra spent 14 years with Madison Gas & Electric, most recently serving the utility’s top 50 accounts.

Dykstra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and business management from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, completed the CIO MBA program at Boston University, the Strategic Leadership Series at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and holds several certificates in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dykstra has served on the Edison Electric Institute Executive Advisory Council for Reliability and Information Technology, as well as on the AT&T Customer Advisory Board. He also has served as a trustee for the Village of Cottage Grove, Wis.
