Understand Regulations

Compliance is critical to the successful operation of our business. Some examples of regulations we must comply with include:

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

Ensures economically efficient, safe, reliable & secure energy for consumers.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Charted with protecting human health and the environment, including ensuring clean air, land and water.

U.S. Department of Labor

Responsible for occupational safety, wage and hour standards, unemployment insurance benefits, and reemployment services.

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Michigan Environment, Great Lakes and Energy

Responsible for conserving and managing Wisconsin and Michigan's natural resources, including lands through which ATC lines may pass.

Wisconsin Department of Revenue

Responsible for the administration of all tax laws.

Public Service Commission of Wisconsin

Responsible for regulating public utilities in the energy, telecommunications, gas and water companies.
