Joint ATC/Alliant Project
Electricity usage in the residential and commercial sectors has grown substantially in the Beaver Dam area. To meet current and future electricity needs in the area, the local electric provider, Alliant Energy, will build a new distribution substation in Beaver Dam. ATC will serve the new substation with a 1.5- mile new 138-kilovolt transmission line.
